We do this through our logistics solution, delivering printed materials and products to help our customers substantially reduce distribution costs and at the same time ensure more timely delivery. We have a comprehensive global warehousing and logistics capability, coupled with strategic partnerships that ensure that communications reach the client by matching the least cost routing option with the best supplier choice based on quality and service levels. We have extensive package logistics services on local, national and international levels. GDS provides storage, fulfilment and kitting programs, along with distribution services either, for, or on behalf of its clients. We actively seek to manage the reduction of stocks and control the costs associated with our client's inventory by rationalising, standardising and analysing client's inventory every minute of the day. Fulfilment Our integrated print fulfilment service includes the planning and cost effective execution of the supply chain of printed materials and information from the point of origin to the point of utilisation. Our print fulfilment service has the ability to supply digital print-on-demand or just-in-time offset printing with off-the-shelf inventory in quantities desired by the end user; this is then packaged and quickly delivered in the manner requested. Our print fulfilment service offering allows for the optimum method of production and fulfillment, from long run produced and stored inventory, to digital print-on-demand produced upon request from end user through a series of networked facilities strategically located across the world. This allows customers to avoid fixed costs and capital expenditures in maintaining internal operations while converting to an entirely variable activity cost basis. Logistics We maintain product traceability and documentation without the paperwork by using our web-based global track and trace system that allows our clients to monitor the progress of their product at every step of the supply chain, tracking an order from raw materials to the finished products. Our system ensures our client's products and materials are distributed on time, and it can provide quick identification and resolution of potential distribution concerns. Our global fulfillment network makes it easy for clients to get their product where it needs to go, precisely when it needs to be there. Designed for use with advanced bar coding and related RFID technologies, our logistics system allows users to monitor the progress of their consignment through our entire network. The system can help clients manage their inventory based on actual delivery dates, as well as increase the effectiveness of call centre staffing and enhance the service to our client's end customers. Easy to view screens provide visibility to scheduled appointment information, as well as the actual date and time of shipment movement within our network, to final entry into the postal system.
